Real Estate Tartous, Real Estate Lattakia and Real Estate Hama

An agreement was signed between the city of Properties Tartous and a group of private companies and real estate owners to invest in the development of a resort and commercial areas in Tartus, Syria. The development is to be called Antaradus being the ancient name of Tartous Phoenician. The joint venture is established in Syria is known for the Tourism Development Company, Antaradus.

Much of the real estate site is reclaimed from the Mediterranean and the people of Latakia Properties in whichthe work lasted many months to raise the level of the site required for protection against sea invaders. A sea defense wall is being built to fortify the real estate.

Tartous is a very historic city, with its foundations dating back 5000 years as well as the city of Hama Properties. There is still considerable evidence of the architecture of the Phoenicians, Greeks, and Romans and Byzantine that occupied the city back then. The city was surrounded by a moat of sea water, in which the profile of a large part remains visible.

Tartous is now a flourishing port with a population of 150,000. It connects the cities of Damascus, Aleppo and Homs road and rail. An international airport is fully operational called the Basil Al, which is centrally located 80 km north of Tartus.

Tartous provides a ferry link to the only inhabited island off the coast of Syria, that being the island of Arwad.
